Document Control Specialist

Department: Arch - Architecture
Location: New York, NM

We are seeking a Document Control Specialist with demonstrated knowledge of large-scale commercial design and construction to join our New York-based project team.


Responsibilities:

- Manage SharePoint/Microsoft Teams, to include:

  • User approvals

  • Uploading/downloading/filing documents

  • Shared project documents

  • Tracking development of documents

  • eBuilder

  • Aconex platforms

- Development and implementation of Document Control procedures
- Assist the project team in:

  • Maintaining integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and readability of documents, data, information, and associated reporting

  • Supporting project staff and documentation requests

  • Meeting organization, collection, distribution; development of meeting minutes and the collection and distribution of data

  • Responsible for reprographics and distribution

- Provide general administrative support to the project team

Qualifications:

- Bachelorís degree
- Minimum of two years of experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite/Teams required; Bluebeam Studio and Adobe Suite preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the document management process, including the ability to understand and analyze deliverable requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and proactively seek guidance as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
